Last week in Guat! :(

I can't believe our trip is over! It FLEW by! The last week was so memorable and so much fun. My parents came out to meet us for the last week of our trip. They were really only here for 5 days after travel time! They brought a friend, Jenna Miller. She is our age and SO much fun! We really clicked with her and the 3 of us had a blast!

Cute Parachute pants day! These are our neighbors.
We brought outfits and backpacks filled with school supplies for these cute little boys, Jaime and Otto! We brought the mom and grandma a blanket and a basket! They are the sweetest family. The grandpa walked out on the family years ago, and the same thing happened with the daughters husband. I don't think they are too fond of men. This sweet family was so appreciative. They invited us over for caldo a couple days later and cried when we told them this was our last time seeing them before we left for the states.
I love seeing the joy on their faces.

I really love this boy!!!
The missionaries loved Jenna's glasses that she brought!
We gave the Choc family Jackets and outfits. All of the girls got a new corte and top! They were so thrilled! They have such an awesome spirit in their home. Bro Choc asked if he could say a prayer before we left and even though it was in Kekchi and we didn't understand one word, there was such a strong spirit there and you could feel his earnest, heartfelt prayer.
The new jackets!
The girls with their pretty cortes!

Their cortes, jackets, hats and glasses!
A drunk guy passed out on the stairs! Pretty funny.

Delivering a pila!

BLUE WOLF!
The coolest caterpillar I have ever seen! It didn't even look real!
The sweet family that we delivered the pila to with a picture of their sponsors!
WE LOVE THIS FAMILY! It was so hard to say goodbye to them. The mom has never really been very expressive or open with her emotions. She is always grateful and never asks for anything, but is very closed. We brought them wrapped presents and told them it was our last time visiting them before we went back to the states and started giving goodbye hugs. When I got to the mom she started sobbing. We had never seen her like that before and it was really contagious! Both of us and my mom started crying. She kept telling me thank you for everything and told us to take care of ourselves and come back soon. Cute little Anna wouldn't stop hugging us and telling us she loves us! All of them are so amazing. These are the types of families that we want to help. Sweetest people ever.
Precious Anna!
We took the Choc family out to dinner. It cost about 40 dollars to feed everyone. My parents had rented a car and they told the Chocs that they would pick them up for dinner with the car! My dad said they were so thrilled! They felt like they were getting into a limo! Not only were they going to dinner, which never happens, but they were getting a ride in a CAR! We loved having them at dinner because everyone HAD to eat together. In their own homes they don't usually eat with us because they are too busy making tortillas and getting everything ready for us. It gets uncomfortable at times.  It was so special for them and made us so excited to give them the opportunity to enjoy it!

We wanted to go along for the ride!
Sericiche!
Tuc tuc!

CHAMPNEY! My family moms family name!

I love this girl. she looked so cute in our glasses!
Fun pictures around the church!

Kassara had a little laughing spell and had to use the roadside bathroom! hahaa
This awesome lady at the ice cream store, Aura, loves me so much that she asked me to cut off a piece of my hair so she could remember me. I thought she was kidding until her daughter brought out the scissors! My mom helped me find an unimportant hair underneath and she clipped off a little piece! So funny!
Then she taped it on different places on her menu! haha
mmmmmm appetizing!

We wore our Cortes to church in the states! People looked at us pretty weird, but it was really fun! I already miss Guat :(
The kekchi smile!

Coming to an end! :(

On our way to deliver 2 pilas!!! Wearing our awesome paca outfits!
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil!

Who needs hands to hold onto the bars when you have a strong back??? haha
Best seat in the house! I was so comfy!
We went on a fun little hike. Overlooking Senahu!

Delivering baskets and clothes! It was so muddy so I gave up and took off my shoes! When in Rome... That has been our favorite phrase this trip.
 Such a cutie.

The cute little boys with their new clothes!
 Me, Gmo and Mario

Another family with their new clothes!
Me holding a baby the guatemalan way!
Our ugly face contest. Who won?? hmmm...
This is Kassara. The sexiest girl in all of Senahu! In fact, she might be the sexiest in all of the world!
On our way to a big dance! It was so crazy! I was actually pretty impressed with the set up. They had 3 big projectors and they had good speakers, too good in fact. The bass was SO high and the music was playing so loud that I never thought I would hear again! The style of dancing isn't so fun though!
Little field trip with the cops! They are our homies. We asked them to take us to some pools to go swimming!
We found a sad accident that had happened the day before. 1 person died and 2 were in the hospital.

We found some chickens strapped to the back of a motorcycle! Only in Guatemala!
 Captain Kassara, SIR!
Indian dress up day! clothes from pacas with rubber boots! We looked really cute this day!

Walking to Seamay! Kass and Marta
 Anna and I!
 I need a hammock!
We are bringing this family a pila next week!

And this family! We already brought them a pila. The pictures are down below. The mom wasn't home when we went to look at the project idea, and she wasn't home when we delivered it, so it will be a complete surprise for her! We are excited to go back to visit!

There are 11 people who live in this house.
Carrying the pila to the family! We were really discouraged this morning because nothing was really working out and we couldn't find people to help us carry a pila. We had given up and decided to find other things to do for the day. All of a sudden, there was a group of 10 teenagers that showed up at Guillermo's house who wanted to help! We were so happy! What sweet boys. It's definitely easier with men!

We fit 11 people in this Tuctuc! We were pretty proud!
We love how this is the advertising for the dentist! Everyone loves their gold teeth here!
This gorgeous man we found when we were going swimming!

This sweet lady was telling kassara how much she LOVED her paca shirt. Kassara asked her if she wanted it and then gave her the shirt off her back, literally! What a sweet soul!

This is their pila situation! We are delivering a pila to them on Saturday!

 Halloween fun with Lorena!
