I can't believe our trip is over! It FLEW by! The last week was so memorable and so much fun. My parents came out to meet us for the last week of our trip. They were really only here for 5 days after travel time! They brought a friend, Jenna Miller. She is our age and SO much fun! We really clicked with her and the 3 of us had a blast!
Cute Parachute pants day! These are our neighbors.
We brought outfits and backpacks filled with school supplies for these cute little boys, Jaime and Otto! We brought the mom and grandma a blanket and a basket! They are the sweetest family. The grandpa walked out on the family years ago, and the same thing happened with the daughters husband. I don't think they are too fond of men. This sweet family was so appreciative. They invited us over for caldo a couple days later and cried when we told them this was our last time seeing them before we left for the states.
I love seeing the joy on their faces.
I really love this boy!!!
The missionaries loved Jenna's glasses that she brought!
We gave the Choc family Jackets and outfits. All of the girls got a new corte and top! They were so thrilled! They have such an awesome spirit in their home. Bro Choc asked if he could say a prayer before we left and even though it was in Kekchi and we didn't understand one word, there was such a strong spirit there and you could feel his earnest, heartfelt prayer.
The new jackets!
The girls with their pretty cortes!

A drunk guy passed out on the stairs! Pretty funny.
Delivering a pila!
BLUE WOLF!
The coolest caterpillar I have ever seen! It didn't even look real!
The sweet family that we delivered the pila to with a picture of their sponsors!
WE LOVE THIS FAMILY! It was so hard to say goodbye to them. The mom has never really been very expressive or open with her emotions. She is always grateful and never asks for anything, but is very closed. We brought them wrapped presents and told them it was our last time visiting them before we went back to the states and started giving goodbye hugs. When I got to the mom she started sobbing. We had never seen her like that before and it was really contagious! Both of us and my mom started crying. She kept telling me thank you for everything and told us to take care of ourselves and come back soon. Cute little Anna wouldn't stop hugging us and telling us she loves us! All of them are so amazing. These are the types of families that we want to help. Sweetest people ever.
Precious Anna!
We took the Choc family out to dinner. It cost about 40 dollars to feed everyone. My parents had rented a car and they told the Chocs that they would pick them up for dinner with the car! My dad said they were so thrilled! They felt like they were getting into a limo! Not only were they going to dinner, which never happens, but they were getting a ride in a CAR! We loved having them at dinner because everyone HAD to eat together. In their own homes they don't usually eat with us because they are too busy making tortillas and getting everything ready for us. It gets uncomfortable at times. It was so special for them and made us so excited to give them the opportunity to enjoy it!
We wanted to go along for the ride!
Sericiche!
Tuc tuc!
CHAMPNEY! My family moms family name!
I love this girl. she looked so cute in our glasses!
Fun pictures around the church!
Kassara had a little laughing spell and had to use the roadside bathroom! hahaa
This awesome lady at the ice cream store, Aura, loves me so much that she asked me to cut off a piece of my hair so she could remember me. I thought she was kidding until her daughter brought out the scissors! My mom helped me find an unimportant hair underneath and she clipped off a little piece! So funny!
Then she taped it on different places on her menu! haha
mmmmmm appetizing!
We wore our Cortes to church in the states! People looked at us pretty weird, but it was really fun! I already miss Guat :(
The kekchi smile!
